A longtime Summit County resident, Kay has been visiting the area since she was eight, and began skiing as a youngster at Arapahoe Basin. Kay’s parent’s purchased property from Max Dercum, the founder of Keystone, in 1960, and she holds onto early memories of summers and winters spent exploring Colorado. From skiing and snow shoeing, to hiking, biking, and trips on horseback, to fishing, sailing, and working as a camp counselor, Kay loves the mountains, and there is no other place she would rather be.

Kay brings with her an extensive business background. After graduating from Wellesley College with a degree in English and Economics, she served as an analyst at AG Edwards, reviewing portfolios and overseeing large companies. From there she worked at Quaker Oats, primarily overseeing econometric modeling and market research. Later she became Vice President of a Blockbuster franchise responsible for purchasing. This varied career path armed Kay with the impressive skillset she has today.
